What can you do if you feel unsafe? Join the Counseling and Career Development Center and the Pillars Advocate team for some games and prizes as we chat about how to successfully navigate intimate partner relationships. Pick up some tips on dealing with family and friends.

 

Dynamics of Domestic Violence

The Counseling and Career Development Center is partnering with Anew and is hosting a virtual 1-hour workshop on the Dynamics of Domestic Violence. Participants will learn about the services and programs at Anew, myths and facts of domestic violence, types of abuse, warning signs of abuse, obstacles to leaving an abusive relationship, the effects on children, and more.

Silent Witness Project
Oct. 11 – 28 | Library, FitRec, Building U and Building D
The exhibition is a visual representation consisting of life-sized, red, laminated silhouettes of individuals murdered in acts of domestic violence. The engaging display rallies community support to grieve the losses of human life, create awareness and support for survivors.
